Translution Business Standard Editions have been designed for smaller organisations and departments of larger enterprises and typically would be used by 2 to 25 users.

Translution Business Corporate editions have been designed for medium sized and multi-national enterprises and is scaleable to tens of thousands users.

Documents and web pages sent for translation are automatically encrypted using https to ensure absolute confidentiality.

(Planned for next edition of Corporate editions only) Email security is provide by encrypting translation requests to Translution Central using HTTPS and then delivering the translated emails to recipients through your normal Microsoft Exchange SMTP server

Installation and Updates:

Translution Business Standard editions have been designed to be easily installed from a CD or downloaded from (it uses the same client software as Translution Pro)

Translution Business Corporate editions require installation of Translution Corporate Manager onto your Windows Servers and should be installed and configured by a Microsoft Systems Administrator. The client software is installed over the corporate network using Microsoft G.P.O.

All updates are included in the license price.

System Requirements

Client Software:

Your Translution product works as an add-in, with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Before you start installing your Translution product you must ensure that your system is ready with following hardware and software setup and configuration.

  • Pentium III 350 MHz or faster processor required
  • 256 Mb of RAM or higher required (512 Mb minimum recommended)
  • 25 Mb of available hard disk space (100 Mb during installation)

Translution Business requires the following software:

  • Microsoft Windows XP (home and professional) or Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit).
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (free download from Microsoft

If you have purchased the global editions of Translution Business you may also need to install additional Windows resources to display Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters. These can be installed via the Regional and Languages Options within Control Panel. Open this and select the Languages tab.

To display Arabic correctly select the tick box labeled "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)". This takes 10mb of disk space

To display Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese and Korean correctly select the tick box labeled "Install files for East Asian Languages". This takes 230mb of dosk space

To receive the full benefits of Translution Business we would recommend that you also install:

  • Microsoft Outlook XP (2002) , 2003 or Outlook 2007 (Outlook Express is not supported)
  • Microsoft Word XP (2002), 2003 or Word 2007
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 , 6.0, 7.0 or 8.0
