5.5  Translution Dictionary Manager (TDM)

5.5.1  I have entered entries into the dictionary but they are not being used in my translations. What should I do?

Check that the dictionary has been compiled correctly by taking the following steps:

1. Open up the Translution Dictionary Manager (TDM) from the Translution options in the Start – All Programs Menu.

2. Enter your email address and password to start the TDM.

3. Select the Compilations option from the Utilities menu at the top of the TDM screen.

4. Select the View Logs option from the Compilations menu, and check that the latest dictionary has been compiled successfully and downloaded.

5.If the latest dictionary has not been compiled, then compile it now by selecting the Compile Dictionary option from the Compilations menu. Then press the Compile button. Compilation of the dictionary may take some time, but view progress via the View Logs option from the Compilations menu.

Finally, if your dictionary entry is still not being used within your email or document translations then there may be a problem with the dictionary entry itself. Please check the source and target language text, and their associated linguistic properties for mistakes. Make any necessary changes and re-compile the dictionary.
